Naturis Fresh Meat Food, as the name suggests, is made from fresh meat and deep-frozen for preservation. Absolutely no grains, preservatives, colourings, or binders are added.
We work with fresh meat that is suitable for human consumption and comes from EEC-approved slaughterhouses. All these slaughterhouses are under the strict control of the FAVV (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain), and ours is no different. In addition to the mandatory FAVV controls, we have our meat checked weekly for salmonella and enterobacteria in a recognized laboratory to ensure that we only process high-quality raw materials.
The raw materials are processed frozen or ice-cold and are not heated so that the natural vitamins, amino acids, and minerals are preserved.
No extra calcium/phosphorus is added to our Fresh Meat Food. The origin of the calcium/phosphorus always comes from the natural source:
- For poultry species: ground bones (e.g., grain-fed chickens, duck, turkey, etc.)
- For beef species: ground bone and cartilage from cattle (e.g., goat, beef, calf, etc.)
- For fish species: whole fish are always processed (e.g., mackerel, herring, salmon, etc.)
Seaweed, a true vitamin bomb for your dog, is added to all our varieties.
Naturis has a very extensive range of fresh meat foods, so there is certainly something for every dog.
We package our meat in transparent sausage casings. This is not only better for the environment, but it also allows you to see what you are buying! Because we only use natural products and add no colourings or similar substances, colour differences may occur. This is not because the composition has been adjusted, but because not every animal is always equally fat.
For example:
Sometimes chickens are fatter than usual, and then you will see that the sausage is very light in colour. If the chickens were less fat, you will find that the sausage is darker. This is absolutely harmless to your dog and is simply nature.

This food is guaranteed to be free of binders, fragrances, colourings, flavourings, pork, and animal testing.
Storage: in the freezer
Thawing: in the refrigerator; after thawing, the meat can be kept for another 2 days in the refrigerator. It is best to store the thawed sausage in a Naturis Curver defrosting and storage box, as it seals well.
Tip: cut the casing off the sausage while it is still frozen! This way, no pieces of meat will stick to your hands or in the clips.
