Thanks to the woven-in handles, you can easily move it from room to room.

Sustainably made, ethically produced

This basket is 100% handmade in Java (Indonesia) by experienced basket weavers and is produced without harmful chemicals. Only old, dying banana trees are used for the material, giving fibers a second life and reducing agricultural waste. The packaging is plastic-free and the production process causes hardly any emissions due to manual work steps. Soeji collaborates with local makers and values fair wages and good working conditions.

Appearance and material

The banana fibers have a natural, intense brown color created by sun drying. The strands are approximately 6 mm thick and finished with a subtle cotton cord pattern. The material feels and smells natural and fits well in interiors where warmth and craftsmanship are central.
