Basil
Basil is a genus of the mint family. The name comes from Ancient Greek, where 'basileus' means king, hence the alternative name king's herb. It originally occurs between Central Africa and Southeast Asia.

Puppy, adult or senior?
To help you make the right choice between our Yourdog Black and tan coonhound dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Black and tan coonhound is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Black and tan coonhound older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Black and tan coonhound senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Transition Advice
If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we advise you to follow these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Black and tan coonhound dog food.
Storage Advice
After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the bin, but to place the entire bag, which you seal as well as possible, into the bin.
