Our ingredients
To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.
Buffalo
At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich colour and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Braque d'auvergne. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Braque d'auvergne belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Braque d'auvergne.
Banana
The banana plant grows in tropical regions where the temperature does not drop below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana was cultivated in New Guinea about 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word 'banana' from the language of the Wolof people.
Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C and B11 (folic acid) and the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. At Yourdog, we use tomato on a culinary level, considering tomato as a vegetable.
Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories and have a high soluble fibre content which contributes to digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives them their red colour. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. In addition to giving a tomato its red colour, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can, among other things, protect against cancer and help with cardiovascular disease. In addition, tomatoes contain a lot of vitamin C and vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Blueberry

Blueberries can be added to our dog food because they are rich in antioxidants, which protect the body against free radicals. In addition, they contain good fibres for digestion and the berries are rich in vitamins C and K. It could support the immune system and contribute to the dog's overall health.
Puppy, adult or senior?
To help you make the right choice between our varieties of Braque d'auvergne dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Braque d'auvergne is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Braque d'auvergne older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Braque d'auvergne senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Transition advice
If you are switching to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can start feeding 100% Yourdog Braque d'auvergne dog food at your own discretion.
Storage advice
After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or container in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the container, but to place it in the container with the entire bag, which you close as tightly as possible.
