Buffalo
At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.
Poultry

Grand Griffon Vendéen Specific Vegetables, Herbs, and Fruits
We have thoroughly researched the breed characteristics of the Grand Griffon Vendéen. Chamomile
Chamomile is a genus in the daisy family. Chamomile is widely cultivated in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name Chamomile comes from a Greek word meaning 'ground apple' and refers to its apple-like scent. Chamomile has an excellent reputation in natural medicine.
Chamomile can be added to Yourdog dog food as it may positively contribute to preventing breed-specific issues related to the stomach, intestines, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation, and urinary tract.
Chamomile can have a mild calming effect on dogs and could therefore be used for dogs that often experience stress. Additionally, it can have a positive effect on dogs with 'nervous digestion.' It can have antispasmodic and antiseptic properties.
Fennel
Fennel is a plant in the parsley family and is recognizable by its anise flavor. The thread-like branches of its leaves are often used as an herb, and its seeds as a spice. These seeds have been known for their medicinal properties for centuries.
Like many herbs and seeds, fennel is rich in various vitamins and minerals. It contains a lot of vitamin A and C, and the minerals iron and potassium.

The berries are rich in minerals such as potassium, which ensures healthy levels of vital fluids in the body. Puppy, Adult, or Senior?
To help you make the right choice between our Grand Griffon Vendéen dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Grand Griffon Vendéen is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Grand Griffon Vendéen older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Grand Griffon Vendéen senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Transition Advice
If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. Allow the dog to get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to allow the dog to get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost entirely transitioned to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Grand Griffon Vendéen dog food.
Storage Advice
After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to pour the food loosely into the container but to place the entire bag, which you seal as tightly as possible, into the container.
