Puppy, Adult, or Senior?
To help you choose the right Yourdog Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen dog food variant, you can use the following guidelines. If your Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Transition Advice
If you are transitioning to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost entirely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen dog food.
Storage Advice
After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to pour the food loosely into the bin, but to place the entire bag, which you should seal as tightly as possible, into the bin.
