Our ingredients
To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.
Buffalo
At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is bursting with health benefits.
Poultry
At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables

These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or breed group, certain ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the White Swiss Shepherd. Glucosamine
Glucosamine is a substance naturally occurring in the body, found in joints, cartilage, synovial fluid, and tendons. Glucosamine stimulates cartilage production and keeps joints supple.
Glucosamine is one of the most commonly used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case in older dogs or (overweight) dogs, but also increasingly in younger, highly active dogs. For example, due to a genetic predisposition to joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food.
Apple
The apple tree is a tree of the genus Malus, on which the well-known eating apples grow, especially in the northern hemisphere. The apple grows in temperate regions.
Dietary fibers have versatile effects in the digestive tract. They are able to absorb moisture, making stools soft and smooth. Dietary fibers also increase the volume in the intestines. This not only stimulates bowel function but also ensures thorough removal of waste products.
Apples are packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. In addition, apples are rich in pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that contributes to supporting healthy gut flora. It also contributes to the palatability of the kibble and apples are low in calories.

Banana
The banana plant grows in tropical regions where the temperature does not drop below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana may have been cultivated in New Guinea about 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word 'banaana' from the language of the Wolof people.
Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and B11 (folic acid), and the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron, and zinc. The natural antioxidant, vitamin C, can strengthen immunity. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a well-functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, potassium can help lower blood pressure in dogs with high blood pressure, magnesium can help relax muscles and promote bone growth. Furthermore, bananas contain many good fibers and promote beneficial bacteria in the intestines.
Puppy, adult, or senior?
To help you choose the right variety of our White Swiss Shepherd dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your White Swiss Shepherd is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variety. For a White Swiss Shepherd older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog White Swiss Shepherd Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variety.

Transition advice
If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of dog food, we advise following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. Let the dog get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog White Swiss Shepherd dog food.
Storage advice
After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or barrel in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the barrel, but to place the entire bag, which you have sealed as tightly as possible, into the barrel.
