Passiflora caerulea is a climbing plant with magnificent ivory-white-bluish passion flowers. This is the most well-known species because it is best suited to our climate and is reasonably hardy. You can expect flowers on the passiflora from June to September. The Passion Flower truly blooms in good weather. On warm, bright/sunny days, the buds will pop open. On colder and darker days, fewer flowers will open. It is a true climber and therefore prefers some support when growing on a trellis or fence.
