Place the strap around the entire column (consisting of washing machine and tumble dryer), feed the strap through the ratchet, and tighten it. After tightening, the dryer will stand firmly on the washing machine, and the risk of the dryer tipping over due to pulling forces on the door will be significantly reduced.
